Recently we began to have "Come and See" Mornings with some of the local parishes.  The response has been quite encouraging.  In our first Come and See in August, the young people traveled all the way from Tucson (2 1/2 hour drive) to join us for Mass, Rosary, breakfast, a Vocation Talk, followed by Eucharistic Adoration.  They were accompanied by their zealous Padre.  It was beautiful to see the zeal and excitement of these young 'discerning' ladies.

In our second Come and See, our little Chapel was packed to capacity with teens from St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Scottsdale, Arizona.  There were 16 young ladies from the Parish who are discerning their vocation (along with several Core Members of the Youth Ministry).  These dedicated young ladies decided to sacrifice a 'Saturday morning' to spend time praying for light regarding their vocations.  Needless to say, their youthful joy and excitement is a great source of encouragement for all of us.

For us, these Come and See's give us a wonderful vehicle for explaining the beauty of the contemplative life to those who feel drawn to follow Christ more closely.  We have 2 more coming up in the next two months.  So we ask for your continued prayers for their success...and for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on those who attend.
