Goodbye Dear Brothers - Not
only did we have to say farewell to our Sisters, but
also to our Brother Communities the Franciscan
Missionaries of the Eternal Word and the Knights of the
Holy Eucharist. Below are some photos from our
farewell party at the Friary and EWTN. We are
blessed, now, to still have the opportunity to see many
of our Friars as they visit with us quite frequently.
It is a great consolation and blessing. |

The suspense was building as we opened our going away gift from our friars... It is a beautiful friar-made crucifix. It is one of a kind and exceedingly dear to us. It now hangs in our private chapel. Here Fr. Joseph is seen blessing our new crucifix The evening before we left for Arizona, the Friars hosted a farewell party, with some local friends and employees from EWTN. Fr. Mitch enjoyed giving us some pointers on desert living... Here Fr. Mark Mary and Br. Leo engage in a grueling sword fight..smile, smile Here Sr. Marie Andre is about to free the balloons after a beautiful evening. How grateful we are for our Friars and Friends!
