Goodbye Dear Sisters - For
cloistered nuns, farewells are final and very difficult.
They make one long for Heaven! Looking back to the
day we departed from our Community to begin this new
Foundation of our Order, we have to
admit...that it wasn't easy leaving home! "HOME" for us was
the Monastery of Our Lady of the Angels...in the rolling hills of
Alabama. With 40 beautiful Sisters and a Reverend Mother (Mother
Angelica) who is one of a kind, it was a great sacrifice
to leave all of this behind. Yet, we were inspired to be a part of this new Foundation of our
Order...we also received the courage and grace to leave all that we love
behind in order to establish a new Throne for Our
Eucharistic King! Below are pics from our actual
departure day...May 1, 2005 |

Our Chariot (a mini-van) awaits us To quote Gandalf the Grey...
How can we ever thank you? Truly our Community is like a Family...and each Sister holds a unique place in our hearts Not all tears are evil...
and that is a good thing, as many were shed on the day the we left home to head for our new foundation in Arizona walking beside us to the very end... to begin for Jesus a new Monastery and Throne for His Eucharistic Love!
How can we ever thank you?
