Yes, you guessed it!  We got puppies.  You might say the Easter bunny brought them to us!  Or, you might say that Sr. Marie André and Sr. Marie St. Paul pulled off a fabulous surprise!  Or maybe it was a little bit of both!  Or maybe it was the "Easter Nunny"!  Yes, that was it.

Here's a play by play: On March 27th, the 2 Conspirators (Sr. M. Andre and Sr. M. St. Paul) headed off to Phoenix for what we thought was an architectural meeting.  What they brought home though, was anything but new building plans!

Instead, to our absolute and utter delight and surprise, they brought home two little white and furry balls of joy!

After much deliberation and prayer, their names were unanimously chosen:

Bishop Fergus and Sir Thomas Percy

You may be thinking...hmm, those are odd names!  Well, let us explain...

The breed of dog is Westhighland White Terriers.  And, as you might know, they are Scottish by descent!  Therefore, the names that were chosen have some Scottish/English connections.

First there is Bishop Fergus (we just call him Fergus).  He is named after an Irish Bishop who went to Scotland as a missionary.

Then there is Sir Thomas Percy (we just call him Percy).  He is the smaller of the two!  His patron is Blessed Thomas Percy who was martyred in England in 1572.  Sir Thomas was a married layman with 4 children, who served in the English government under Queen Mary.
