from left to right: Sr. Augustine and Fr. Kline putting our new grill together.  It was the generous gift of a kind man who heard that our grill was broken.  It is a 'Cadillac of Grills' - truly we are spoiled!  Next you see Mr. Darcy, our kitty, enjoying some time in the garden with Sr. Esther Marie.  Above that you see Sr. Augustine Marie enjoying a stunning Arizona sunset.  WOW.  Finally, Sr. Fidelis is showing off the 'fruits of the earth' - a mini-corn!  Someday she'll get the hang of this desert gardening.  Some kind website viewers sent some books (Extreme Gardening) to help out!

The Transitus of Our Holy Father Francis - October 3, 2007

On the vigil of the Solemnity of Our Holy Father Francis, to commemorate his death, we had a Transitus Celebration and First Vespers of the Solemnity.

Fr. Kline was the celebrant, and we were blessed to have our Dominican Sisters of Mary join us for the festivities.  We began at the house and processed to the main Chapel while praying the Litany of St. Francis.  After Vespers, we venerated his relic.  In the course of Vespers, Father Kline gave a beautiful exhortation.  Click here to view this exhortation as well as his sermon from Mass.

To all of you who joined us in the Novena to St. Francis, be assured that your intentions were remembered in our daily prayers throughout the Novena.
