On July 16, 2006, the Phoenix Phive headed back to Alabama
to visit with our Reverend Mother Angelica and Sisters at
Our Lady of the Angels Monastery, our motherhouse.
This was our first time back since our departure to begin
this new Foundation in May 2005. We were accompanied
by our dear friend, Fr. Kline, who serves as the vocation
director for the Diocese of Phoenix.
Our time in Hanceville was wonderful, as we had a chance
to catch up with the Sisters and tell them of all of our
desert adventures in Phoenix. We were also able to
spend time with the Friars and Knights, which we greatly
enjoyed. Finally, we were blessed to have time to
spend with our beloved Reverend Mother (although we were
unable to get a photo with her to share with you).
Then on Thursday, July 20th, we appeared on Life on the Rock
with Fr. Francis Mary. For more information on how to
see this show,

new home in Arizona, renewed in our commitment to our
mission here in the heart of the desert. We received
too a shot in the arm to keep on keepin' on - in our dreams
to build a new Monastery and Chapel for the honor of Our
Eucharistic King. Having experienced the beauty of our
former Monastery and the joy of all of the Sisters, the Lord
gave us a new zeal to plant such a life here in Phoenix.
We ask that you keep this in your prayers, that our dream
will soon be turned into a reality. |
