The 'blesser' extraordinaire!
Mike Wick from the Institute on Religious Life
When Indonesian Eyes Are Smiling!
There's no one quite like Fr. Anthony!
What cuties...the cats that is!
Fr. Mark, a.k.a. Desperado...taking a hike with us in Sedona
Another of our Canadian Connection...Fr. Jim Bussanich
Fr. Dominic Mary, MFVA, comes bearing gifts...pizza for the whole gang. Fr. Dominic visited at the very beginning of June and was present for the 'snake bite fiasco'. Thankfully he was able to anoint Sister right then and there, and we are sure this was a big part in her total recovery!
God love dear Br. Patrick. His trip to Phoenix was filled with much hard work...and many laughs. It is such a gift to have the MFVA family with us!
For the Welcoming Mass in June, three of our Sisters from Hanceville came to be a part of the festivities. We took advantage of that time to show them the sights of Arizona. Here we are seen in a 'wind' storm at the Grand Canyon!
Brother Leonard Mary is showing his strength...both his bodily strength and his strength of character. After nearly 3 weeks of helping us (and we're talking MAJOR repairs), I'm not sure which strength was better proved.
Fr. Parker has been a faithful friend to our Community from the very beginning of the Foundation. He was with us as the wildfires approached in June 2005. We believe it was his prayers that put those fires out and protected our humble abode.
In June, Mike Wick was able to come and spend a little time at Our Lady of Solitude - which was very meaningful for us all as Mike had a big part in our coming here.
Fr. Bob Reddy, from our Canadian Connection, spent nearly 3 weeks with us in July/August. He drove all the way from Canada to be with us...and having driven with him, now we understand how he got here so fast!!!
Our kind Fr. Miguel visited with us in August 2005, and we treasure the time he spent with us...though it seemed to go by so quickly. We look forward to his return!
Good Fr. Anthony visited with us for nearly 3 weeks...and it was a laugh a minute. Here you see him playing 'Brother Porter' at Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Brother Peter Mary is here with some of his favorite friends...our three cats: Nibs, Fatty, and Jolly. Brother was visiting when we got the cats and he helped them (and us) adjust to Our Lady of Solitude Monastery.
Fr. Mark Mary spent a week with us in October, at which time he took some of the Sisters to the Grand Canyon to watch the sunset...then to Sedona to do some hiking. He is definitely a true outdoorsman.
Fr. Jim Bussanich visited with us for 2 weeks in November...during which time he organized our library and also enthroned the image of the Sacred Heart in our house.
