Fr. Kevin has been praying for 20 years for Poor Clares to come to the Diocese ... so in a very real way, we are the fruit of his prayers. Father suffers much from various illnesses, yet always has a smile and a hearty laugh ready for us!
Fr. Kline has been a friend, tried and true, since our big move to the Valley of the Sun...providing for our Sacramental needs and helping us with manual labor as well!
Fr. Clements has endeared himself to the Community with his wit and beautiful sense of the sacred. We are blessed to have him come up to offer Mass for us...and entertain us with his humor!
We were blessed to have the missionary image of Our Lady of Guadalupe with us overnight. With Fr. Charlie, we had a 'truck procession' all over the land!
Fr. Fred came to help us get our garden started. Sr. Joanna has been following all of his instructions to the tee...and we have our first tomato! Fr. Fred was a good sport...he even gave in to wearing one of our aprons over his clerics!!!
We were blessed to have the Phoenix Missionaries of Charity join us for lunch and some recreation time. It was a beautiful day...and we feel like we are all truly one family in the Lord!
Painters Needed...and a pal responded! Deacon John, along with a few other seminarians, painted our in-house chapel!
Cody MacDonald, another Phoenix seminarian, came and offered us so much assistance!!! He painted our 'cloister sign', made a sign for above the Chapel door, painted us an icon of the Sacred Heart...and put his 'blood, sweat, and tears' into helping us make this house a home!

As a joke a priest friend of ours gave us a 'Bat Phone' to use in case of 'emergency', however for Phoenix Seminarian, Matt Lowry, it is now known as the 'Matt Phone.'
